  15. The Adaptec 1510 SCSI host adapter must be configured in the following
  16. manner in order for it to work under Windows NT:

  18.    SCSI Disconnection        Enabled
  19.    SCSI Address              7
  20.    SCSI Parity               Enabled
  21.    Synchronous Negotiation   Enabled
  22.    Interrupt Channel (IRQ)   11

  28. The Windows NT device driver for the Adaptec 1510 adapter is SPARROW.SYS.
  29. The driver is hard coded for the parameters listed above. Although MS-DOS
  30. device drivers, by the use of switches, can specify adapter-related
  31. parameters, such as IRQ and parity, this cannot be done under Windows NT.
  32. Make sure you attach only SCSI targets to the Adaptec 1510 adapter that
  33. support the settings listed above. Note that since the adapter always uses
  34. IRQ 11 and does not report this fact, conflicts with other devices using
  35. the same IRQ may occur.
